Design News August 2009 - Design for BDI Livery

The graphic design team at Pixel8 were approached by BDI to design their company vans as part of a ‘re-vamp’ of their current brand. As BDI’s core structure was based around CCTV, Access and Guarding, it was essential that we reflected these services in the design. We got the ball rolling by taking the new style that had been developed and applied to the website, echoing elements into the van design to ensure that the brand had consistency throughout all of their new applications. We were delighted to be involved with BDI at this stage for this new and exciting venture and wish them every success with their new look and feel in the future.

Design News 2009 - Design and artwork for 8 page newsletter for Solutions for Housing

As part of our ongoing work for new client Solutions for Housing, we were asked to design and print a full colour 8 page introductory newsletter, which reflected the new brand and new website design which we also created.

We were challenged with fitting large amounts of copy in to the document which was supplied to us, as well as fitting in images. However, this is bread and butter work for us at Pixel8, so we easily managed to accommodate everything the client wanted.

Design News 2009 - Graphic Design for Print of the 2010 Lucy Pinder Calendar

In addition to our usual design for print of the Manchester United range of calendars, desk diaries, pocket diaries and planners, we have also been commissioned to design the Lucy Pinder 2010 calendar.

Photography of Lucy was supplied to us for the calendar, which we used to create the overall look and feel for the 12 pages. The Lucy Pinder 2010 calendar is already printed and on the shop shelves in time for Christmas 2009.

Design News September 2008 - Re-branding of Fusion Sports and Skyer Training Bat

Fusion Sports are manufacturers of quality hand crafted cricket bats, innovative fielding aids and top quality cricket equipment. They approached Pixel8 to re-brand both their main logo and also their revolutionary training bat, the Skyer. Along with this, we designed and developed a website incorporating e-commerce, content management, photo gallery, dynamic news and a superb Flash mini-site for the Skyer bat.

Design News August 2008 - 'Tighten Your Assets' Campaign for Serco

Serco, a leading sports centre management company in the UK, approached Pixel8 to deliver a creative campaign. The campaign is to encourage students to use sporting facilities in the Manchester area and get fit! Pixel8 delivered a rather saucy solution, including direct mail, postcards and banners, positioned around all of the facilities and both Manchester Universities, promoting activity and fitness.

Design News- Logo Design for Michael Warwick Nicholls

Michael, Warwick, Nicholls has chosen Pixel8 to re-design their logo and create a new brand identity. Voted amongst the top 5 management consulting recruiters in the UK for two years running, we’ve been tasked with better reflecting MWN’s pre-eminence within the marketplace.

Design News - Gap Consulting Logo Design / Brand Development

Pixel8 design and advertising in Manchester were pleased to win the web design and development contract for Gap Consulting but always wanting to give our clients a service above and beyond the brief we also approached them with a new corporate identity and brand development which would form the basis of the new look and feel for the new web design and web development. The new logo design was welcomed warmly by Gap Consulting and as a result Pixel8 design in Manchester also carried out their stationery design and produced design templates for them to produce newsletters using their new logo design and corporate identity.
